THE SCHOOL

High ceilings and marble columns. Hallways stretch and echo. The academy itself almost looks like an ancient museum. Statues watch over it’s students almost as protectors. It’s rumoured that when under attack, the stone creatures come alive to protect their home under the command of Dolos himself. Winding staircases lead to floors upon floors of mystery rooms and balconies overlooking the forest that surrounds the campus. In some classrooms the ceilings are decorated in stars, others are painted with depictions of great myths.

THE LIBRARY

The school's pride and joy is its expansive collection of reading material. Books found in the library can range from textbooks on subjects, novels and history books. A few sections of the Library contain literature on mutants, such as their biology and even history on past mutants that the world has hidden. The library is also a great place to hang out with friends and so some studying with its comfortable chairs and desks. However, don't be too loud or you'll be hushed by one of the statues.

DANGER ROOM

Due to the schools high-tech advancements, a special room was designed within the school for special training lessons. This room has the ability to change an transform into whatever the user needs; whether that be a weaponry training room or an environmental training room. This room is almost indestructible, allowing mutants to use their powers to its full extent without harming any outsiders. The greatest and most strongest mutants have trained in the Danger Room.

THE GREENHOUSES

There are two greenhouses found on the grounds of DSP, a small one found at the back of the dorms and a much larger one found on the fields. A large variety of plants and flowers grow here and are often taken care of by the Greenthumb Alliance. Students are known to take plants from the greenhouses to decorate their dorms. Fresh fruit and vegetables are also grown around the greenhouses as well as inside them and can be found in many of the meals the school supplies to its students.

THE DORMS

With their tall walls, bookshelves that reach the ceilings, and wood based furniture; the dorm house is a place to call home. The building is split in two, one side for the Phobos students dorm rooms and the other for Deimos students. They give a soft, homey feel in comparison to the elegant marble of the rest of the academy. The rooms are quaint and cozy. Set up with two beds, dressers, desks and bookshelves. The students are allowed to redecorate their rooms if they so wish. The common rooms are to be shared among the entirety of both factions. They are dolled up in dark wood and deep colours, it makes for a good place to unwind and socialise.

THE FOREST

The forest that surrounds half of the school is dense and full of secrets. Many students over the years have taken to building small forts and bridges to access the most remote areas.  The frequent Capture The Statue games are held within it's territory and pushes players to the edge of their navigational abilities. Irven, the schools counsellor, can also be found near the forests edge closest to the school within the confinements of his tree. Many clubs travel to the forests outskirts for adventures and training. Despite it's usual safe aura, Sentinels are often found lurking these woods. It's best to be on guard whilst travelling alone.

THE GREAT LAKE

The lake is large and beautiful, reflecting the evening sun and the moon's rays. Students are able to swim within the lake and also enjoy a boating trip. The Underwater Game is also held deep underneath the water of the lake. If one was to search the school's lowest floor they would find that the lake itself seeps into a pillared room. In the past this has been used as an emergency escape route.

THE FIELDS

The fields on the school grounds are protected by hills and mountains in the distance and can be found around the outskirts of the forest and great lake. It is known as a safe place to train and where most outside based club and sport activities take place. Quite often wildlife can be found on the fields that have wandered in from the forest and is a great place to relax and get some fresh air.

HOLLOW PASS

Hollow Pass is the local village on the other side of The Great Lake. On weekends, students are allowed to visit it's premises to shop, dine out and just relax in general. Humans reside in the village along with mutants who have decided to blend in with normal society. Often times students are taken to the village for a field trip to practice blending in with humans or to visit ex-students who now live there.

SCHOOL STATUES

If you've visited the schools grounds, you would notice the large amounts of marble statues that are dotted around outside the school as well as within the schools walls. Headmaster Dolos' ability to manipulate and create art allows him to build statues that are able to come alive when in need. Sometimes, the statues are cheeky and move around on their own and provide great entertainment to the students. When the school is under attack, the statues are commanded to protect the students and school grounds.
