FACTIONS
If one was to delve into the schools history books, they’d find traces of the mention of mutant twins that Dolos saw as his own two sons. These two twins were Deimos and Phobos; two exceptionally powerful mutants that had control over both the Aether and the Nether separately. Little is known about the twins other than the fact that Dolos named the school’s two factions after them; Phobos, for the Aether manipulator himself who was rumoured to be just and kind to all those he met and Deimos for his powerful ability to manipulate the Nether, using his talent and strength to spread his beliefs.
Whilst some rivalry does exist between the two factions, mainly due to team based games, they are known to live harmoniously within the school. Many believe that each faction represents the good and bad of humankind, but Dolos himself firmly believes that light and dark exists in both factions. In the end, it comes down to what each student believes the future holds for mutantkind and what length they would go to reach it.
PHOBOS
The personification of fear in greek mythology and also the fear of loss. Mutant's under this faction fear the loss of the world that we know so well. They wish to use their powers to help humans and bring equality between humankind and mutants. These mutants are proud and almost heroic, helping out whoever they can whether it be in class or in training. They believe in the use of diplomacy instead of violence but are still great teammates to have when going up against Sentinels as their strategic minds and intelligence are just as powerful as anyones fist. This faction is often the winner of Capture The Statue games as their war strategy is amazingly well thought out and successful.
DEIMOS
The god of terror in greek mythology. Mutants under this faction wish to use their powers to take down sentinels and gain equality with a more hands on approach. Many mutants in this faction are fierce on the sports field and love a good war cry. Whilst Phobos mutants might be all about strategy, Deimos mutants are brute strength and recklessness. Their members excel in physical training as well as mastering the use of all weapons they may come across. Mutants of this faction are hardy and full of survival instincts and are willing to go to war for their freedom in the world.
